These boats average in speeds from 80 to 90 mph and are usually all very close, as they have similar horse power.  This class provides good competitive racing.  It is one of our most economical classes and a stepping stone into the other major outboard classes.  These boats are air assisted with a sponson on both sides and a tunnel, hence the meaning of the word tunnel boat.
