Location

Lake Dyer, Laidley (approximately 85km or 1hour from Brisbane CBD, 100km or 1hour 15mins from Brisbane Airport).  Lake Dyer is also known as The Bill Gunn Dam and is situated in the beautiful Lockyer Valley between the villages/townships of Laidley and Forest Hill and is just a short detour off the Warrego Highway.  Lake Dyer is 2km from the main street of Laidley (Patrick Street) – go along Patrick street and soon after the Queensland National Hotel (which will be on your left, cross the bridge and then turn right onto Gatton – Laidley Road).  The entrance to Lake Dyer will be on your left.
